Culinary Assistants for the Edina Cooking School
Summary:
Assist Chef Instructors during cooking classes and private events.
Requirements:
- Organized
- Basic Culinary Skills
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Good Overall Communication Skills

- Ability to multitask
- High Energy and strong ability to collaborate with others positively
- Ability to lift up to 30 lb.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in pre-event food prep
- Assist in setting up kitchens and dining spaces for classes and events
- Assist in clean up after all experiences
- Deliver high level, positive guest experiences
- Complete all shift tasks
- Move fast throughout experiences
Time Requirement:

Kitchen Manager
Summary:
To prep, cook and lead teams to prepare savory items for Cooks | Bellecour while overseeing the management of our kitchens.
Food Production:
- Supervise food preparation, final products and packing
- Maintain quality and consistency
- Provide training to savory team members with quality oversight
- Produce savory products in conjunction with sale demands
- Work alongside team to find production efficiency
Requirements:
- Oversee ordering (produce, dairy, paper goods)
- Oversee the bakery inventory ordering (packing, labels)
- Coordinate crop shares with managers for proper pick up/storage
- Monitor and maintain food cost with weekly budget goals
- Participate in weekly management meetings
- Monitor bakery team labor hours weekly
- manage kitchen staff, ensuring all duties are fulfilled.
- manage all health inspector visits to Edina kitchen

Summary:
To prep, cook, and prepare savory items for Cooks | Bellecour while supporting the chef in leading our team in through their daily tasks.
Requirements:
Bakery Production:

- Kitchen lead:

- Maintain daily and weekly prep/task lists and inventory

- Communicate equipment repair to Kitchen Manager
- Place and check in orders
- Maintain clean and organized workspace, support FOH team to keep items stocked
- Assist in training of new employees

Chef Instructor – Part time
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts or Certificate from an accredited culinary institute or three years work related experience
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
- Create, write and publish recipes using a variety of cooking methods
- Classroom or individual teaching experience
- Multi-task and organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks through to completion with an attention to detail
- Work independently while contributing to team environment
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to relate to others in a professional, helpful manner
