COCH20250522SP1801Cookbook author and co-founder and CEO of Seed + Mill in New York, Rachel Simons, and local author, food stylist and former Food & Wine editor Maren Ellingboe King will be joining us for a celebration of their new book, Sesame: Global Recipes + Stories of an Ancient Seed. Their book is on a quest to share the history of food, its culture and migration, as well as its ability to bring people together over a diverse and lively table. Rachel and Maren will guide us through delicious recipes and discoveries of sesame as a wonderfully versatile ingredient. While preparing favorite recipes, they will regale us with the evolution, history, and diversity of this classic ingredient. From savory to sweet, sesame transforms dishes, has been translated by many different cultures and has tied people and places together through generations. It is nothing short of an amazing ingredient!
