COCH20250728SP09Register the kids for a four-day Farm to Table Kids Camp, getting creative with Minnesota’s seasonal bounty while making delicious sweet and savory dishes. Each day will spotlight fresh herbs, veggies and fruits, teaching knife skills, baking basics and creative ways to use local produce. We’ll wrap up with a fun-packed dinner party, celebrating all we’ve learned in this hands-on cooking adventure!
This class is a four-day series on July 28, 29, 30 and 31. Seats are for teens only, ages 13-16.
Menu: Day 1: Herbs and Flowers: Rosemary Parmesan Scones with Fresh Herb Butter; Spring Rolls with Mint, Basil and Scallions; Lavender Lemonade; Rosewater Cake. Day 2: Veggies: Stuffed Peppers with lots of Veggies and Sausage; Multicolored Carrot Salad; Zucchini Bread. Day 3: Fruit: Strawberry Salsa with Plantain Chips; Chicken with Blackberry BBQ Sauce; Fresh Ricotta Toast with Grilled Fruit. Day 4: Dinner Party! App, Entrée, Dessert: Pan con Tomate; Fettuccine with Pesto and Roasted Veggies; Strawberry Shortcakes.
