Normally, during non-COVID season, we'd be talking about Marie's lovely garden, out front of our shop on Grand Ave in St. Paul. Year after year, it's our mid-day, summer respite. Herbs, herbs and more herbs. This year, she took an entirely different track. Instead of herbs, she went for bees and aromatics. Bee Balm and Lavender. A quick rub of your, recently washed hands, across the lavender and the air fills with the scent of Provence. Bees buzz. The scent calms. Wonder if Ranelle has a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc hidden in her basket? Today would be a good day for a picnic.
