Lake Trout Fillets | March

We've been fans of the Bodin family and their fish finds for many many years. The fish market was the first stop and the last stop we made on our way to Martha's cabin on Madeline Island with a passel of kids and friends in tow. The trout is mild, sweet and moist. Perfect for cooking with a variety of methods. We love it for creating tacos and dips and served with mashed potatoes, capers and big pile of greens!
